Roasting

Coffee beans can be roasted in different ways. We believe in the Vienna roast, which is the most gentle of all the roasts. The characteristics and benefits of this coffee roasting method include
- Drumb roasting of single origins
- Low temperatures for gentle roasting
- Longer roasting times for optimal aroma development and breakdown of chlorogenic acids
- Constant supervision by experienced roast master
- Adaption of roast according to outer factors such as humidity or temperature

About the Vienna roast

Always fresh

All coffees, even the best ones, lose their glory with time. So you need to consume them when they are still fresh. We roast all of our coffees fresh after receiving an order. No coffee will be stored longer than 5 days before consumption or packing and sending to you. To learn more about why coffee needs to be prepared fresh click here.
